rubber linings on-site
Rubber linings can be carried out in our workshops or on-site by our specialties. We also do the vulcanizing and quality testing ourselves – only in this way can we guarantee that your rubber lining meets our quality standards.
On-site rubber lining
- Vulcanization with steam (pressure, temperature)
- Steam vulcanization at normal pressure
- Hot water vulcanization
- Cold vulcanization
- Pre-vulcanization
Rubber linings on site will be carried out if the dimensions of the part to be lined are too big for a vulcanization in an autoclave.
On-site we use vulcanized rubber sheets and selfvulcanizing rubber material.
Soft rubber:
Rubber linings with KERABUTYL® V and KERABUTYL® VC are pre-vulcanized, the advantage is that there is no vulcanization necessary, but the adhesion is lower than the adhesion with self curing material (at higher temperatures).
Self vulcanizing systems VULCOFERRAN® 2206, KERABUTYL® BB-S have the advantages of good adhesion also at higher temperatures, easy application. Disadvantages: vulcanization is necessary.
VULKOFERRAN® 2208 rubber lining is resistant at higher temperatures (120 °C) and highly aggressive media.
